ABMC 2010 Keynote Address Part Four

ABMC 2010 Conference Chair Part 4 of 4 The Asian Business & Management Conference was held from October 7-9 at the New Hotel in Osaka and attracted a great diversity of scholars from some of the world’s top business schools as they gathered to exchange ideas and opinions in one of the world’s great cities. Under the able chairmanship of Dr David Wilkinson of La Trobe University, the conference provided the setting to a few days of passionate discussions and intellectual debate centering around the conference theme: ‘Challenges and Opportunities’. ABMC 2010 was extremely honored to be able to host Professor Don Brash as the inaugural keynote speaker, and his address, which responded to the conference theme, was impressive in it breadth, scope, and ambition. IAFOR would like to thank Dr Wilkinson and Professor Brash, the programme advisers (listed below), as well as the presenters and delegates for making the event such a success. The conference was made possible by the support of a number of univeristies and organizations, including the following affiliates: La Trobe University (Australia), HKUST (Hong Kong), Chulalongkorn University’s Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration (Thailand), Zagreb University, The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), and the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative (GRLI).
