I would like to go to college for Asian Indian Studies.Does anyone know a school that would offer that?

I would like to major in Asian Indian studies but can’t find a college that offers a degree program for that. I would love to be able to study in India if at all possible. It has to be an accredited school for degree seeking students.
No I do not. What are you going to do with that degree?
Not Indian Studies by itself, but Asian Studies programs tend to focus on China, Japan and India.
I can only speak for the colleges in NY, I don’t know about other states.
I went to Hofstra University for Asian Studies. I took an Indian American History class and Indian Literature (which was a special class – it isn’t offered as part of the regular program), as well as Indian Religion class. There is also a Sikh Studies minor program there.
Most campuses do a C, J, and I focus, rather than just one area. NYU probably has the BEST program in NY, if not the entire East Coast. St John’s (NY), SUNY Albany, SUNY Stony Brook as well as CUNY Queens have great programs as well.
