My suggestion is to try Singapore for food instead. You can find Malaysian food there and the Nyonya food too. But also there is a greater variety and it’s easier to find great food. Obvioiusly Singapore has good Chinese food but there is great seafood, great Indian food and the Malaysian and Singapore/Malaysian combinations.

All that is not to say that Malaysia has bad food, just that there is a better variety in next door Singapore.

Hi Harry, come over to Singapore for the International Food Festival that is coming on soon and you can compare Malaysian gourmet and Singapore and decide whether this question can stand.

since Malaysia doesn’t have its own food, it copies other countries food (Chinese,Indian,Indonesian) and claim it theirs…
    a very smart tourism trick
