The first scholarship is provided by freecollegescholarships.net and it is a $10,000 scholarship drawing. To be eligible to register for the scholarship you need to live in the United States and be at least 18 years of age or older. Fill out the quick registration form on the site to enter the giveaway. There is a winner every month but if you want to win you need to register before the next deadline.
The Mitsuyuki Yonemura Memorial Scholarship offers numerous scholarship awards in varying amounts. The scholarship program is open to entering undergraduate freshmen who are members of the National Japanese American Citizens League. To apply, students need to submit a completed application form along with proof of JACL membership, letter of recommendation, official transcripts and a resume, and a personal statement. The deadline for the scholarship is on March 1st. The funds cna be used to pay for applicable majors under all fields of study.
There is no magic pill to getting scholarship money. It’s simply a formula of putting as much energy and effort into your application and applying to as many scholarship programs as you qualify for.
