I was a software engineer. There were mostly men in that profession and the more cheap labor being imported from other countries, the more discrimination against women engineers there was. The imports were younger and less experienced than we American programmers but they were the type of guys who ‘knew everything’ and talked to women as if we were morons. They were not team players with women at all but would help only each other.
