How do i make my computer understand asian letters?

I had seen sentences in japanese, chinese and vietnam languages but they are always replaced by boxes so i cannot read. What should i do to get rid of the boxes? What program should i install? What is the number to BOXBUSTERS!? Even thought i don´t understand these Asian letters, i prefer them than boxes [...]

My Computer can not run programs with Asian text, I need to download and install Unicode!?

But where and how do I install it?
I know of unicode.org but I can’t seem to find a place to download the unicode to install on my computer.
