Why is it that non asian men are more interested in asian culture then non asian women?

I am a double major in east asian studies and business. And I have noticed when looking around my chinese class that its dudes of all backgrounds black/asian/arab and asian women. But no white latino or black girls in the class.
I know a few but generally it seems like men are more interested in Asian [...]

In the Asian culture, is green a good color (like wearing a green shirt, at an Asian business meeting) ?

or does it have no meaning ?
