Japanese was easier for me to learn. Mandarin is pretty easy too, but the different tones might be harder for some people.

Depends really. None of them are “Easy” seeing as they’re so unlike english (but they’re not as hard as people make them seem, speaking at least. Writing on the other hand is difficult but it can also be compared to how difficult it is to read english with all the different pronunciations of sounds that don’t make sense). I think it depends on the business you go into. I’ve never really heard of Korean as being a big business language..poor Korean lol it’s just..”there”. Check which businesses deal with what and in what language, what language would be most interesting for you job, etc

They are all very different languages and none of them are particularly “easy”

I would recommend though… to learn Mandarin Chinese because it is the most commonly spoken language around the world. The tones may pose a challenge to learn, but it is a nice language.

Secondly, I’d learn Japanese because the Japanese Industry really is coming along and it’d be helpful to know how to communicate with the Japanese.

I don’t have anything against Korea or it’s language, but for business, I just don’t think it’s most suitable.

It depends what kind of company you want to work for. China is rising in economic power, but Japan has been strong for some time. I’m not sure about Korea, but at best, I’d say it’s the same as Japan.

As far as learning them, Japanese is the easiest when you start off, but as you progress, it gets harder and harder. The grammar is not basically hard, but it’s very different from English, and they have MORE grammatical structures than we do. Reading is very hard too because they have different writing systems that are all used at the same time, and there are many irregularities with the characters that even many native speakers have trouble with. Also, it has more words than the other two.

Korean is harder to pronounce phonetically than the other two, but at least they don’t have tones. The writing system is harder to get started on than Japanese or Chinese, but since they don’t use all those characters anymore, once you’ve got it down, it’s easier.

Chinese tends to be the hardest for Westerners to learn at first because of the tones and pictographic writing which don’t exist in any European language. But the grammar is quite simple and there are very few grammatical irregularities.

For business, Chinese…because it’s one of the most spoken language and China is a developing country; Which makes business easier.

    Chinese is best choice!
Considering the international situation, you will find China’s influence on the world is more and more now.
Trust yourself, Chinese is not so difficult. Speak more, pratice more, and you will improve rapidly.
I guess every language is best learned in this way.
You can make some native Chinese and take some free courses on line.

Chinese. It has the largest number of speaker and a promising future. It is not so hard as people make it seem to. The grammar is quite easy. You can use it in business and live in China without any problem when you have just 2000 words, which is quite few comparing with english. The learning of Chinese is hard at the beginning but easier and easier. Japanese is easy at the beginning but harder and harder.

    are you people INSANE?

    KOREAN is the easiest.
