What business models and services you would like to see in Southeast Asian Countries?

What business models and services you would like to see in Southeast Asian Countries? I need business advice – I am torn between staying here in The US and living in Asia. I’d like to get some advice from anyone who’s interested in having their own business (especially those who have lived in SE Asia)… what’s lacking, what do you want to see?

Let’s just stick with the ideas and forget about investment cost for a second, what is your wish list? I would greatly appreciate any input from you…

Thank you in advance

i am from malaysia, and i would say that there are many opportunities here waiting to be tap. Furthermore, governments here are offering many forms of assistance to aid pre-seed, seed and startup companies.

As for ideas, I would suggest ICT, tourism and even property investments. This are the few areas that interest me.

Hi, nice to meet you! I’m a branding consultant and a business owner in Indonesia. Areas that is pretty up lately: Education, Food business, and Lifestyle. Education: People’s awareness for their children’s education are increasing, especially working or busy parents. They seek qualified, international standard education for their child. Kindergarten or playground is promising. Food business like coffee shop, restaurants, are always inviting to people with the rapid growth of mall here. People are eager to taste something new, especially from outside the country: Europe lifestyle cafe or cuisine, restaurants, bakery, Pizza, Ice cream, Hamburger, etc. Lifestyle: imported goods and services, gadgets, apparel, etc.
