I can tell you from experience that in the UK and the US it doesn’t matter that you are Asian. There is little to no racial discrimination. In France, Germany etc., lack of competency in the local language can be a barrier.
Beware the cultural gulf. That your accent is more difficult to understand, your cultural references are different (do you know who Dot Cotton is? Or Paxman the axeman?) may be more the stumbling block. You won’t “get” the jokes at the water cooler. You may not necessarily fit in easily from the beginning. And that is irrespective of which country you go to.
